Black Hardcoat Mast Finish
Standard on pneumatic military telescoping mast models, Black Hardcoat mast finish is a highly technical process of hard anodizing aluminum surfaces and impregnating permanent Teflon® lubricant and black dye. Telescoping masts with this lubricated, abrasion resistant finish will have increased durability and corrosion protection for extreme environmental conditions and will have extended life expectancy. The Teflon in the finish provides a permanent lubricant reducing seal wear and need for routine maintenance. This process has been tested worldwide under all environmental conditions for pneumatic and QEAM masts in military applications. This finish meets MIL-A-8625, Type III, Class 2. Masts with Black Hardcoat will meet the salt fog requirement of MIL-STD-810F, Method 509.4 for marine environments.
MIL Bronze Mast Finish
