Will-Burt's Lukon 24 Mast finish is a highly technical, patented process of hard anodizing aluminum surfaces and applying a permanent Teflon® lubricant. Telescoping Masts with this lubricated, abrasion resistant finish will provide improved service in all weather conditions and will have extended life expectancy. This process has been tested worldwide under all environmental conditions including pneumatic masts in military applications.

As an added feature, all Heavy Duty Non-Locking Will-Burt pneumatic telescoping masts with Lukon 24 mast finish are equipped with special mast collars with fully machined synthetic wear inserts. These "insert collars" provide bearing engagement and eliminate the potential of metal on metal key wear resulting from torsional loading.
